The project will make me more powerful and able to address the issues affecting my community to make it a better place to live and equal for all people

My deep interest in conflict resolution and peace-building processes in my region motivates me to participate in this project

Peace Ambassador is a mediator, a person able to understand different mentalities and cultures

As peace ambassadors we should become the eyes and ears of the Council of Europe in our countries and in Europe

I would like to see and learn about peace-buiding initiatives and projects organised by European youth

I would like to learn conflict prevention and management and post-conflict reconciliation by the means of intercultural dialogue

My vision of peace in my community: people being respectful to one's life, person, vision, nationality

First of all peace exists in that community which can understand the needs of another community and where the common interests result in cooperation, but not in conflict.

Community that lives in peace is community based on civil society, a community of solidarity, the community where the law rules, the community of shared values such as the respect for human dignity

My vision of peace in my community: A community where individuals have their rights respected and protected. Where citizens actively participate and have a shared vision of society.
